Voting is now closed for the Telford Poetry Award 2009. Telford & Wrekin Libraries will be announcing the winners at the Big Bash on 27th June, 2.30-4.30, at The Place, Oakengates theatre. To celebrate this award, three of the shortlisted poets will be performing some of their poetry. The Poetry Bash is being compared by local writer and comic Ian Billings and the writers who will be performing are Andrew Fusek Peters, Polly Peters and Gez Walsh.
