Telford Driver Training Centre "Young People Working Together"

Telford Drive is open to everyone between the ages of 14 - 18 and referred by their training agency, school or other relevant organisation (e.g. Careers Service, Gateway etc.)

You could be a member if you are:

  • Male or female;
  • at school, college or working;
  • unemployed or employed;
  • non-driver, learner, experienced or inexperienced;

We offer:

  • Training to suit your needs;
  • On going help from qualified staff;
  • Easy access for all.

Activities at The Training Centre

  • Help prepare cars to go motor racing;
  • Help to build a go-kart;
  • Weekly checks and avoiding break downs; technical support for the theory part of the Driving Test;
  • Car Maintenance; (for when you get your own car)
  • 6 & 12k miles servicing;
  • Fitting Accessories and In-car entertainment;
  • Body repairs; · Basic welding skills;
  • Health and Safety in the work environment;
  • Earn certificates to help to improve your job prospects.
