This section
is designed to inform parents of the support that is available for
their child should they have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.
If parents can work with school and other professionals then the
support that is available to their children is likely to be more
effective. It can often be very difficult for parents when forced
with a range of different agencies to know which one is the most
appropriate to help their child.
If you have
concerns about your child's emotional well being of if you feel
that they have behavioural problems, you should discuss this with
your child's teacher or a senior member of staff to see if they
also have concerns and to find out how you can work together to
help your child. They will also be able to point you to other agencies/service,
which may be able to help.
This section
will give you information on a number of agencies who may be able
to help, their contact numbers are also included. You may also find
other parts of this website useful if finding out what support might
be available.
